I’d never seen Dean Allen’s site Textism (archive link) until I stumbled my way through and to a post about his unfortunate death. As is mentioned in that link, truly the best introduction to Dean should be his about page. From the small bit I now know about him, the world is definitely a worse place now.

As I go on my own personal journey of writing and reading in a blog environment, it’s very nice to have such an amazing source to look upon. There lies the genuine online presence of a person—what we all should strive for.
